I can say confidently I never want to see another Betelbaby again. Mrs. McCallister and the Green Goblin clearly had a fun time while it’s always nice watching Jenna continue to skyrocket. The catch is that while traces of Burton’s flair can be found, this doesn’t come very close to the magic that radiated from its wacky predecessor. It’s a sequel that doesn’t achieve much beyond serviceability.
