John Carpenter's Girl, Interrupted meets John Carpenter's Sucker Punch. I liked it. I wish it were set in the present day though, the lazy retro stylings were distracting (they couldn't do something vintage looking with Amber Heard's extensions??) But.... I liked it and definitely think it's underrated
