I was very excited to see this movie, and holy shit it was phenomenal. The acting was perfect, and the whole cast did a fantastic job. Cynthia Erivo, my girly Ariana Grande-Butera, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum and everybody else did a wonderful job and truly gave their roles their all. The screenplay was so good and everyone really made their roles their own, especially Cynthia and Ariana as the leads. Their heart and passion for their characters and friendship was very authentic and wholesome. It made me so happy and truly made my heart so full. The cinematography, effects and visuals were incredibly creative and unique. The score was stunning. Jon M. Chu and everyone else who worked on this movie very much put their heart and soul into it, and worked incredibly hard on making it perfect. It’s definitely the movie of the year. I’d rewatch this film many times because of how great and amazing it is, and it deserves all of the love. I literally cried during I’m Not That Girl and Defying Gravity. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with it overall. Ariana and Cynthia are coming for those Oscars. Such a lovely and beautiful movie through and through. It was very ethereal. I rate this movie an A+.
