Okay, but seriously here’s my real top 50 of the decade list!
There’s no better way to end the decade and year than with my favourite movie ever. It feels like I’m watching it for the first time literally every single time! It’s so incredibly perfect. Always at a loss of words. Not to sound cliche but this has genuinely changed my life. I wouldn’t be into movies, be the person I am today, have found Letterboxd and found so many beautiful, amazing people that I now call friends, without La La Land. It’s my comfort, my safe place. I could go on and on and on about this but I need to keep it short cause I end up just rambling. There’s no movie that gets to me the way this does, it’s sparked something in me I never knew I could have. Now as for the year, I wish you all an amazing, happy new year!!! I am thankful for every single one of you! 2019 has been my worst year by far and taking time off lb didn’t help but coming back and surrounding myself with everyone really just helped me in more ways than one!! I appreciate all of you. The way I no longer feel so alone in this world because of all you, seriously thank you! Here’s to more movies that we will watch!!
