A robot who only seeks to help others, accomplish tasks, rescues a baby duck, and becomes its mother? Seems like they just made a documentary about me!
While this was technically impressive and the animation was well done, it did feel a bit conventional and certain elements became a bit repetitive. The found family story was cute and the message was effective for a kid's movie, but it didn't feel it was saying anything revolutionary. I still think it's better than most other kid's movies that have come out recently so would def recommend watching, simply to see the beautiful animation style and to hear Pedro Pascal be a silly little rascal.
*bonus points because if i had a nickel for every suspiciously hot animated fox i would have 2 nickels. which isn't alot, but it's weird that it happened twice!!!*
