Definitely got caught up in the brilliant marketing for this film. Feels like it’s caught between wanting to be Zodiac and something like The First Omen with its supernatural stuff. Tonally it feels off sometimes. Nic Cage is quite hilarious as Longlegs and randomly starts doing Nic Cage impressions in spurts (I still liked his performance). Maika Monroe is fantastic per standard — scream queen royalty. I still enjoyed, I just think hearing “It’s the scariest movie ever,” for a while got to me. Will revisit, I’m sure most will love this. Maybe it’s me.
