Wer gutes tut, dem widerfährt gutes. I'ts A Wonderful Life hat eine Wahrhaftigkeit in seiner Botschaft die gerade in unserer heutigen beschwerlichen Zeit umso wichtiger nachhallt, für andere Menschen einzustehen, über sein eigenes wohl hinaus, ist das gütigste, was Menschen füreinander tun können. Ganz am Ende erkennt der vom Leben betrogene George Bailey, das er der reichste Mensch der Welt ist. Wem das nicht berührt, der ist verloren für alle Zeit. Wenn schon Weihnachten, dann bitte so und nicht anders.
