Perfection that's both exuberating and exhausting at the same time, every single time...Though he kind of followed it up in his final film 'Saraband', Bergman primarily intended to finish 'Scenes from a Marriage' with the original six episodes. But the fact that filmmakers like Richard Linklater, Andrey Zvyagintsev, Noah Baumbach and Asghar Farhadi have made some of their best works inspired from the relationship of Marianne and Johan says out loud and clear that their marriage won't have a closure for eternity!!!
