I saw this movie back in 2016 when it came out, and as time has gone by I remembered I liked it, but I forgot almost everything else about it. I decided to rewatch it today and man, this movie is perfect. It evokes such a range of emotions from the viewer in just 2 hours. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone (two of my favorite actors) are magnetic on the screen, especially when they are together. I usually am not into movie musicals but I love the songs and the use of them here. The happy parts bring a smile to my face and the not so happy ones hit hard. The visuals of this movie are beautiful, it's one the best looking movies I've ever seen. It's a lot funnier than I remember it being as well. This is all just a long and pretentious way of saying that it's safe to say I will not be forgetting this movie any time soon. 10/10
