So this is what game night with an Engineering major looks like
This is what I mean when I say I want to watch a good religious based horror film. One that questions things, makes you think and just overall creeps you the fuck out!! If you don’t mind a good tense dialogue heavy horror movie over jump scares and people being stabbed every 10 minutes, this is your movie !!
I lean more on the agnostic/realist side of the religious spectrum and I had a blast. Where as my friend who I went with is a pretty devout Christian. He said the film was good, but was annoyed when saying it. I can 100% tell you, this is a film that’s going to irritate you more than it does thrill you if you’re heavily religious. If you can leave that at the theater doorstep going in, you’ll have fun.
It challenges your thoughts, it creeps you the fuck out and it leaves you wondering what’s to come during any Hugh Grant speech (there’s a lot of them). The performances all around were great as well!! The film left me wondering what I should be scared of more though, heavily religious people, or heavily non religious people 🧐🧐
