Although it wasn’t bad for a low budget, movie you’d see on the Sci-Fy tv station at 2am back in the early 2000’s, make no mistake, it’s still not good.
For one of these types of films, you’d expect the acting to be abysmal, but surprisingly it really wasn’t. That’s about the only thing this film has going for it though, because the CGi effects look similar to that of a 9 year old who just watched a “how to make a tentacle monster on adobe after effects” video and tried to mimic it. It was laughably bad.
The gore was passable I guess, the plot/story wasn’t completely boring, but it’s just a really really really shitty attempt at making a John Carpenters The Thing knockoff.
