I’ve seen killers in movies use knifes, axes, chainsaws, now they use Iron Deficiency…. NEAT !!
This film was very reminiscent of ‘Trap’ that came out earlier this year. A movie with a very interesting premise, a strong opening, and even a great cast, but it kicks itself in the ass by including incredibly stupid situations to help further the plot… WHY!!! Why must you make me like the direction you’re going. Why must you have very tense and on your seat curiosity, then ruin it with stupid shit?!? It just makes everyone take your “I want to be taken seriously” film and turns it into a circus, not to be take serious.
Apart from the unrealistic directions this film takes us on, it’s a fun average cat and mouse film. It’s not bad, it’s not great, it’s just good ! It’s a good fun movie that tries to do something different with its overall scenario.
Make no mistake, I liked it, I found entertainment in it, I just wish this film matched its first 15 minutes throughout the entire runtime. I was realllllly glad it didn’t pull a ‘Funny Games’ transition with its third act as well. It made you think it was going down that road, but the ending left you pretty satisfied all things considered.
