God damn I wish my dad was famous. I’d be churning out mediocre screenplays left and right. I could’ve fucked a non famous Euphoria cast member by now. This is bullshit
Shyamalan is the last guy who’s all Hitchcock, no De Palma. I do like that earnestness about him. But the third act left me so defeated. As soon as they left the concert I kept thinking, “well there’s gotta be like 3 minutes left right?” And every time 3 minutes passed and the movie kept going I was validated in my instincts to wrap this thing up 3 minutes ago. At a certain point I was half convinced we were about to get another superhero ending. M Night blew a 3-1 lead
