Everytime Nolan attempts a historic event, its something extraordinary. I stopped missing character motivations nd backstories and get wrapped up in his magnificent storytelling. This has to be my top three favourite Nolan of all time now pushing dunkirk to no. 4 and keeping inception, only scifi of Nolan thst still excites me as much as it did when its released. Experiencing this epic was glorious. Christopher Nolan is in another League of directors now making a verbose biopic totally on his own. Now I am ready to believe he can literally take any genre and work his magic on it.

The worry of getting lost into interpretation was nonexistent throughout the 3hour runtime. Never felt bored of exposition or restless which has been a telling issue with Nolan films. It's all because of the screenplay which I believe worthy of not only a nomination, but also a win. Watching it reminded me of The Social Network. And there were echoes of great historical pieces like JFK.
There was quite a lot of criticism surrounding the talky stretched third act, that din bother me at all. Probably bcz the whole film is men talking from room to room, scenes going like flashes. Once I was attuned, it was transcendent. (It's the interval and the starting few minutes after the interval where I lost the flow a bit due to poor volume level in the theatre which was fixed soon.)

Never felt the score was drowning out the dialogues. Probably bcz i din try to hear n interpret word by word, instead I let the scene speak to me. Whenever I missed smthing I waited patiently for a scene or two later and put two and two together. So the verbose nature was barely exhausting.

No going for Barbie, sorry. I'd spend that buck on a rewatch. Thank you STAR Cineplex, i forgive you for all the ticket related hassle. It was worth it!
