The film really does justice to the tagline. The most gory film I've ever watched with some brilliant shots, especially the one I can never forget which is when Mia was cutting down abomination Mia with a chainsaw with the house burning in the background with blood torrentially raining down. So iconic.
Need more horror films like this. And Jane Levy was brilliant.
Fun fact: According to reports in the press, the film used 70,000 gallons of fake blood. In an interview, Fede Álvarez said they used 50,000 gallons for the final scene alone. This is compared to the 200-300 gallons used in the original.
