i was stupid enough to watch this movie again, and now i'm paying the consequences (i'm in floods of tears). i said to myself, but yes for valentine's day i'll see it again, i've seen it so many times now it won't have the same effect on me every time, but instead. i can't describe in words what this movie causes me, emotions that i didn't even know i could feel. i love everything about this movie, i could watch it a thousand times. the ending destroys me every fucking time, that what if, THAT FUCKING LOOK, is literally the key to the whole movie, and it breaks my heart every single time, especially the part where we see the scenes of the family they could have had. la la land teaches that not all people destined to be together end up together, that in life you have to make choices, and one of the most important is: dreams or love? as much as the ending destroys me, i probably would have chosen my dreams too, but instead of mia i would have waited the same for sebastian. a masterpiece every time i watch it, simply wonderful. what else to say i decided to cry on valentine's day.
