Its one of the movies that the academy awards will not think of getting it a credit because of it weirdness.
Two strange and weird men being held alone in an empty island in a lighthouse trying to maintain their sanity. You know it's gonna be a masterpiece.
The movie is filled with weirdness, horrifying scenes, the type of things that you don't wanna see. That's what makes it special. The mermaid, the dead man body, the storm, their anger, their willing to fight over some talk, their drunkenness, their horniness, the light at the top of the tower representing everything they need.
It's the kind of movies that the directors stopped making them. Robert Eggers made that movie.
