A solid time to say the least.
I don’t really know how others will react to this one, but for me it was pretty good. Nothing really memorable though.
The animation is beautiful once again, maybe even topping the first film, but the scale is so low and nothing feels very important. Played very safe and doesn’t really introduce many new ideas, therefore making it a “harmless” sequel, like many others fall victim to. Way too similar to the first film.
The pacing is also very bad. Honestly might have upped the rating if it wasn’t this way. It takes a third of its runtime to get going and I think that says enough.
Not enough to be disappointed about but nothing to really get me excited.
A good/solid sequel at the end of the day.
