Genuinely better than the original series.
This installment is a worthy sequel to the initial 12 episodes, and serves to further Homura's character arc from its misguided conclusion in the show. The animation is better, the backdrops are breathtaking. The voice acting is stellar as always.
If there are two things I could fault the movie for, it would be: the unnecessary addition of Bebe and the specifics of how the end of the movie came about. But honestly, those problems are inoffensive and don't detract from the experience.
