Chingus sive Xius[1][2] (秦始皇 Qín Shǐ Huáng = Ch'in Shih-huang) (259 a.C.n.–10 Septembris 210 a.C.n.),[3] nomine proprio Yíng Zhèng, fuit Sinensis civitatis Qin rex ab anno 247 a.C.n. ad annum 221 a.C.n. (iam publice sub familia Cheu), et deinde, ab anno 221 a.C.n. ad annum 210 a.C.n. nomine Primus Imperator (始皇帝 Shǐ Huáng Dì = Shih Huang-Ti), primus penes unum subiectarum Sinarum imperator.
Sepultus est Chingus in suo mausoleo, cum Exercitu Argillae, prope urbem novam Xi'an in Shaanxi Provincia.
