Everything you wanted to know about Kittie!
Hi there – I am Kittie Caracciolo, an avid paper crafter who loves to share! I recently retired from working in medical management for over forty years and am enjoying being home with my husband, pets and having lots of time to spend playing in my craft room and sharing my creations with you here on my blog.
I have been married to my husband Bob for twenty three years. He is the most wonderful and supportive husband, my biggest fan and my most honest critic. He knows paper crafting is very important to me and encourages to me every step of the way.
I was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia and have lived in the Orlando, Florida area for forty years. My mother was a florist and I used to work with her in her flower shop. I learned so much about floral design from her and I enjoy using those skills to create dimensional flower designs with my paper crafting.
I was first introduced to rubber stamping in August of 2003. I became enchanted with the process of creating outdoor scenes around stamped images. When die cutting machines and dies were introduced by the paper crafting industry I completely fell in love with creating projects using die cuts to create dimensional scenes as well as dimensional floral designs using all the fabulous tools available to use papercrafters.
I love teaching and am drawn to helping others realize their own personal creative skills. We all have them and just need to have the courage to set them free!
I am currently working exclusively as an associate designer for Rubbernecker. Over the years I have served as a teacher for Ellen Hutson in The Classroom and served on the design teams for Impression Obsession, My Favorite Things, Stampavie, Hanna Stamps, Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen, and have been a guest designer for Memory Box, Taylored Expressions, Whimsy Stamps, Whipper Snapper and other various companies and online challenges.
I am glad you took a few minutes to get to know me – if you would like to please leave a comment below so I can get to know YOU! And be sure to mention if there’s anything in particular I can help you with or if you have any questions about projects that you’ve seen here. I love helping other people unleash their inner creative selves and look forward to seeing you more on my blog!
