Bars are the gathering hubs of most cities. A shelter from the harshness of the wasteland, bars provide many amenities. The local Barman readily supplies alcohol, bread and food (barring the Skeleton Bar) and as such there is no shortage of adventurers gathered in these watering holes. This makes bars the ideal place to recruit new squad members. You may even come across some of the land's more eccentric denizens in the form of Unique Recruits.
One may also employ the services of Mercenaries (or Tech Hunters/Cannibal Hunters) or sell ill gotten goods to a Thief Fence in these dens of iniquity.
