The Time I Got YEETED Across Venge
Here is probably the Kenshi-prime experience, we managed to get the first Hiver launched into the space. Sadly, it isn't Beep. But regardless, our team composed entirely of slaves and a Bonedog locked inside a cage has managed to crack the secrets of the ragdoll physics, and we managed to propel a Hiver at an astonishingly speed and altitude to the heavens, or at least high enough to be considered one so that Okran can probably bless them and let it become Human. Unfortunately, the Hiver didn't become a Human, but it did survive an altitude that is at least 15 km high without parachute.

Kenshi II Ideas
Here is a list of personal preferences that I would love to see in Kenshi II. I've marked (*) those that, in my view, would really make the existing game even more awesome and the others are just ideas that could be used or not.
ENVIRONMENT
Presently there's little reason to explore the territory besides the already known locations. Some improvements might change that for the player.
Lootable environment (*)
It is currently impossible to live off the land in Kenshi and it might be intentional (i.e. “lore friendly”). However it would be great if characters could harvest (loot) grain, fruits or berries from the surrounding lands, turning things into food or medicine. Spring Bat Utility
If you want to raise Toughness by getting back up in the middle of a fight, having your buddy shoot you in the back of the head with a shotgun-crossbow is an excellent strategy. :^)
Kenshi Let's Plays
The blog will contain all the info on Kenshi that cannot go into the Wiki for one reason or another.
There are quite a few videos on Kenshi as well as complete Let's plays. I found that only few correspond to the criteria that I've picked to be in my favourite list. They are all roleplays, extensive Let's plays with a beginning and a foreseeable end, with no majour cheats or gaming the system. There's also a real interest and effort put into the narration of every episode. I really appreciate when the gamers "live" inside the world of Kenshi and people in these videos do just that.

Skeletons are the supreme race of kenshi
The skeleton has many adavantages when it comes to surviving in kenshi
- they do not need food
the fact that they don't need to eat means that you can leave them alone for a long time wihtout having to worry about providing food, another benefit is that on a long journey their stats won't be affected by hunger - higher base health
this one is pretty straight frowards, more health on each body part, more time they can fight for - can be repaired almost instantly
for quite a large portion of the damage they take the repair kit will quickly restore them back up to a much higher number, and for the damage it can't heal, they regenerate reasonably quick - immune to all environmental hazards

Sleep with 2 eyes open
Apparently Kenshi characters don't close their eyes when they sleep. Ignoring the coding realities of it, is this an evolutionary necessity? Everyone who slept with their eyes closed probably died off from beak thing attacks, or had their pockets looted then starved to death.
The only characters I can imagine being an exception to this are UC nobles. With all their guards and riches, I'd expect them to have the luxury of eyelids.
Sand + Electronics
I think that duststorms should be harmful to characters with robotic limbs. Like there should be damage to the connections between their robotic parts and organic bodies.
Although with almost the entire world consisting of sandy landscape, maybe everyone's evolved past these issues. I definitely think that Skeletons should be advanced enough to not be damaged by standard sand.

Old Icons for UC Books
A while ago, LoFi hired someone to redesign the icons for items. But as I was updating pages, I noticed that the icons for books which are related to the UC weren't changed. Mostly, they all use this icon or the letter icon. Book1 icon looks like a spiral-bound notebook. Meanwhile, books distributed in the HN look like hardcover bound books. (example: Scripture of Radiance Series)
I feel like this small detail goes against lore somewhat as the HN is the faction opposed to technology. But it could still make sense as in Europe's dark ages, monastaries produced intricate books with roughly the same tech level as HN has. Other Language Wikis
Recent discussion of wiki translations, thought I might link to all of the different wikis out there. It looks like at least half of all Kenshi wikis have been abandoned.
- Kenshi Chinese Wiki was one user's attempt at translating our wiki. They didn't get very far and the most recent activity was late March.
- Kenshi Wiki is the other FANDOM Chinese wiki. This wiki matches our wiki more closely and has had activity within the last 3 weeks.

Best Skeleton Couple
Dack and Quin are probably going to fall apart eventually. Always arguing about hoarding and selling their junk. But their home is spacious enough for a lot more stuff and they have a secure business.
Ponk and StF are wanted criminals and eventually someone is going to get them.
Agnu and Beep have a great love story but Agnu might be headed towards increasing malfunctions.
Shek Kingdom Map
The Shek Kingdom map is poorly designed. The lore is that their civilization is in ruins because of the unending war with The Holy Nation, and there's two maybe three ruined locations on the map which support that.
Specifically the Shek Ruins, which display that the SK previously had more settlements than they currently do. Except, the Shek Ruins is located in between Squin and Admag. If HN caused the destruction of an SK settlement, why wouldn't it be the one located closest to the HN?
The excuse is probably that Squin is much more defensible. But if SK has a well defended settlement nearer to the border, how did HN manage to get so far into their territory and physically ruin the now-ruins.

Kenshi Fashion
Kenshi doesn't have an armour degredation mechanic (unless worn inside a peeler machine), so Drifter's Leather Jackets don't start out as complete jackets and then over time lose a sleeve. All Drifter's Leather Jackets are made with the same missing sleeve. This is true for homemade leather jackets too.
Here's the theory: in one of the old empires, complete, both-sleeved leather jackets were made. But after the fall of one of the empires, all of those jackets were lost except for one single-sleeved jacket. Someone liked that jacket a lot so they made a blueprint based on it, but they intentionally didn't make it symmetrical. Probably because they thought it looked cooler that way. New Badges
I've created a new Wiki Achievement Badge track. You can now earn badges specifically for editing pages in Category:Locations! Our goal for that category is to get a detailed page for every kenshi location and a good screenshot. (you don't have to stop at one!)
I've also removed the categories Major Towns, Towns, and Ancient Locations because those distinctions were weird and not really defined by the game. (well, Towns is almost gone. if anyone knows which waystations are Waystation and which are Waystation Four, please help me)

Cyberbeep *is* a Skeleton
Unique Recruit Beep is probably the character in Kenshi most likely to lose limbs. After being outfitted with a Robot Limb, Beep will refer to himself as Cyberbeep in Zone entry dialogue and upon seeing a neutral skeleton character, will say something along the lines of "hello fellow skeleton!" or "hi! beep is a skeleton too!"
Typically, this is understood to be simply another world concept which beep is kinda wrong about, similar to how he is unable to distinguish whether a character is female. Beep may not have known many actual skeletons before being recruited by the player, but he does have knowledge of the hive.

So I have gathered this data for myself, it's not great, its not perfect, I dont know if its wiki worthy.
To get the exclusive dialog, I opened every reference for [is character] and [has package] for each character and counted any that had that character only as a user of that dialog

Since i cannot recreate this possibly due to actually buying the building, it won't work for me again, sadly. Apologies, and is availabe in vanilla. (the only mods i added later in the game are, 256 Recruitment Limit, Recruitable Prisonersand TameBeasties. None of these should have affected my testing but I might try again sometime with no mods since starting the game with mods might have affected things.

i made a new template this week which can replace these stats tables on probably most Character pages. not all though! a lot of characters have their stats set in their character entry in FCS but many have a specific "stats" entry tagged to them. my template [[Template:Character Stats|
Tables EVERWHERE
The Wikia Community stance is that Tables in articles/pages are a bad idea because they decrease readability on mobile and we should be trying to decrease their use. I think that if you're looking up kenshi information on your phone, you're already too far gone and readability isn't your main concern when finding game content.
An update of armour template
Hey,
As there are now weather effects in Kenshi, I put in some time to update the armour template accordingly.
There are now 3 more parameters available when using this template.
- Duststorm protection
- Acid protection
- Gas protection

It would be nice if there was a community run, massive amount of achievements. even if it was in game not steam, but steam is always prefered
Steam Charts
I've always been a sucker for data, maybe it's why I like contributing to this wiki.
However, I was just browsing Steam Charts and saw a total playing time of 153,000 hours into Kenshi which puts it just below Star Wars, Knights of the Old Republic (240,00), Assassin's Creed Unity (220,00), and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number (193,000) by comparison. The closest game to Kenshi is Alien: Isolation (167,000). Not that bad for a game whose all time peak was 981 players back in December 2013. Unsurprisingly, small rises in both average players and peak players happen with each stable build.
Hopefully we'll break the 1,000 player barrier with a full release by early-to-mid 2017.

Earned Badges HTML
Did the earned badges section of wikia change? For some reason the html in mine seems screwey no matter what browser I use. Instead of being in mulple rows the badges are all in one vertical column. Just not sure if this is on my end or something wikia did. Either way its ugly :/.

Custom Badges
So uhh ya.. spent a few hours making really nice custom badges... then went to upload one and found out that you can't really make custom badges you can just upload custom images to fit inside the tiny little preset badge borders. So that being said.. we get less awesome custom badges now ;P
Clothing Vs. Armour
Should we use the clothing page to list equippable items that give no defensive bonuses and dont fall in to light, medium, or heavy armor class? I mean technically items like Halfpants Sneaky Chain are a peice of clothing but are more in the armour category in most cases as they have an armour class, whereas something like Halfpants (ragged) is equippable in an armor slot but gives no added bonus and has no armor class in the tooltip.
Something change with infoboxes?
For some reason I am unable to change the variables in new infoboxes I try to create. I can add new elements but I cannot delete them or change the variables in new ones added.
Remove Categories
Anyone know if there is a way to remove a category from an article? Is it soemthing that requires admin privledges?
Many a little makes a mickle
Do what you can. Adding any kind of information (text, photo, video and others) makes editing wikia easier. Writing at least two words may clarify an article. At least one photo is what each page deserves. If you have no info to add, but you see a bay formatting -> fix it. Make a table or two, add some description to existing photo(s).

So I know full well I was a minor character on this board, but I'm back to Kenshi, and I'm hoping to help update some pages on here, and also add some of the experimental stuff so people can start getting those pages together early. I'm glad Kenshi finally is starting to damble in the category of MORE THEN 20 PEOPLE, but hey.
