The study was carried out to investigate factor structure and psychometric properties of the Turkish version of
Negative Act Questionnaire (NAQ-R), developed to measure workplace bullying. A total of 100 public and private
sector employees participated in the study. Principle component analysis revealed that one factor solution accounted
for 39 % of the total variance. The convergent and criterion related validities of the scale were explored by relating
the scale scores with another workplace bullying scale and adverse outcomes such as low self esteem and high
state anxiety respectively. The results indicated high convergent and criterion related validities. Reliability analyses
showed that the scale had high internal consistency and high test-retest and split half reliabilities. Based on the
fi ndings, it was concluded that Turkish version of the NAQ-R had suffi ciently high reliability and validity to justify
its use as a tool to measure workplace bullying in Turkey.

work behaviors. A total of 351 private sector employees participated in the study. Principle component analysis
revealed a four factor solution that accounted for 65.15 % of the total variance. The convergent and criterion related
validities of the scale were explored by relating the scale scores with a sabotage scale and an organizational citizenship
behavior scale respectively. The results indicated high convergent and criterion related validities. Reliability
analyses showed that the scale had high internal consistency and high test-retest and split half reliabilities. Based
on these results it was concluded that Turkish version of the CWB-C had suffi ciently high reliability and validity to
justify its use as a tool to measure counterproductive work behaviors in Turkey.

The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating role of employees’ belief in a just world on the relationship
between workplace bullying and physical illness. A total of 296 males employed in Kardemir factory in Karabük -
Turkey participated in the study. Data was collected by conducting the Belief in a Just World Scale, Negative Acts
Questionnaire and Physical Illness Symptom Checklist. The results showed that belief in a just world had a moderator
role in the relationship between mobbing and physical illness symptoms.

The present study was carried out to investigate the relationships among collective efficacy beliefs, self efficacy beliefs and group cohesiveness in sports teams, and to determine the role of these variables in predicting players’ evaluations of their teams’ past and present performance and their expectations about their teams’ future achievements. A sample of 186 football, handball, volleyball and ice hokey players completed “Collective Efficacy Scale”, “Self-Efficacy Scale” “Group Environment Questionnaire”. To determine the relationships between self-efficacy beliefs, collective-efficacy beliefs and group cohesiveness product moment correlations were calculated between participants’ collective and self efficacy scores and four cohesiveness scores they obtained from four subscales of Group Environment Questionnaire. The results showed that participants’ composite cohesiveness scores and Attraction to The Group-Task, Group Integration-Task and Group Integration-Social subscales’ cohesiveness scores were significantly related to their collective efficacy beliefs. The relationship between group cohesiveness and self efficacy beliefs was significant only in the case of Attraction to the Group-task subscale scores. The result also showed that there was a moderate correlation between participants’ collective efficacy beliefs and self-efficacy beliefs.

The purpose of  the present study was to investigate reliability and validity of the Turkish version of Group Environment Questionnaire (GEQ). The questionnaire was  developed by Carron and his colleagues.(1985,1987) based on their model of cohesiveness and since then has been the most frequently used measure of cohesiveness in sports teams. A total of 100 football, volleyball and ice hokey players participated in the study. The original four factor structure of GEQ (individual attraction to group-task, individual attraction to group-social, group integration-task, group integration- social) was replicated. The Cronbach’s Alfas obtained for total scores and subscales ranged from .79 to .69. Based on these results it was concluded that Turkish version of GEQ has sufficiently high reliability and validity to justify its use as a tool to measure cohesiveness in sports teams in Turkey.

The present study examined the role of belief in a just world in moderating the relationship between bullying and turnover intention in a Turkish sample. Self-report questionnaires measuring belief in a just world, workplace bullying and turnover intention were administered to the sample in their workplaces. The results of moderated regression analyses based on date collected from 300 employees showed that both personal and general belief in a just world moderate the relationship between bullying and intention to leave. In Hypothesis 1, it was predicted that personal belief in a just world moderates the relationship between bullying and turnover intention such that the relationship is stronger when personal BJW is low and weaker when personal BWJ is high. Conversely, Hypothesis 2 was not supported since negative regression coefficients for the interaction indicates that the relationship between bullying and turnover is weaker under conditions of high general BJW.

Bu araştırma kişi-örgüt uyumu, örgüt kimliğinin gücü ve algılanan örgütsel prestij ile bağlamsal performans arasındaki ilişkilerde örgütsel bağlılığın alt boyutları olan duygusal bağlılık, devamlılık bağlılığı ve normatif bağlılığın aracı rolünü bir üniversite örnekleminde incelemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmaya Karabük Üniversitesinde çalışan 190 akademik personel katılmıştır. Araştırmanın yordayıcı değişkenleri ile yordanan değişkeni arasındaki ilişkide örgütsel bağlılığın alt boyutlarının aracı rolünü incelemek amacıyla üç ayrı hiyerarşik regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Sonuçlar duygusal bağlılık ve normatif bağlılığın kişi-örgüt uyumu, örgüt kimliğinin gücü ve algılanan örgütsel prestij ile bağlamsal performans arasındaki ilişkide aracı rol oynadığını ancak devamlılık bağlılığının ise böyle bir aracı rolünün olmadığını göstermiştir.

Bu araştırma dolaylı saldırgan davranışlar sergileme ve bu tür davranışlara hedef olma açısından cinsiyete bağlı farklılıkların üniversite öğrencilerinde incelenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Forrest, Eatough ve Shevlin (2005) tarafından geliştirilen Dolaylı Saldırganlık Ölçeği'nin saldırgan ve hedef formları kullanılmıştır. Dolaylı Saldırganlık Ölçeği'nin saldırgan formu (DSÖ-S) bireylerin başkalarına yönelik dolaylı saldırgan davranışları ne sıklıkta sergilediklerini, hedef formu (DSÖ-H) ise dolaylı saldırgan davranışlara ne ölçüde hedef olduklarını ölçmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ölçeğin her iki formunda da aynı maddeler yer almakta, ancak maddeler saldırgan formunda bireylerin dolaylı saldırgan davranışları ne sıklıkta sergilediklerini, hedef formunda ise bu tür davranışlara ne sıklıkta hedef olduklarını ölçecek biçimde ifade edilmektedir. Benzer şekilde her iki formda da Sosyal Dışlama, Kötü Mizah ve Suçluluk Hissettirme olarak adlandırılan üç alt ölçek yer almaktadır. Araştırma Karabük Üniversitesi'nin değişik fakülte ve yüksekokullarında öğrenci olan katılımcılar ile yürütülmüştür. Aynı maddelerden oluşmaları nedeniyle Dolaylı Saldırganlık Ölçeği'nin saldırgan ve hedef formları iki farklı gruba uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin saldırgan formunun örneklemini 200, hedef formunun örneklemini 220 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada yer alan toplam 420 katılımcının 181'i (% 43.10) kadın, 239'u (% 56.90) ise erkektir. Katılımcıların yaş aralığı 18 ile 40 arasında değişmektedir, yaş ortalaması 20.66'dır.

Bu çalışmada meme kanseri tanısı almış çalışan kadınlarda psikolojik esnekliğin bilinçli farkındalık ve damgalanma
ile psikolojik iyi oluş arasındaki ilişkilerdeki düzenleyici rolü incelenmiştir. Katılımcıların (N = 170) yaşları 25 ile
56 arasında değişmektedir. Araştırmaya katılan kadın hastalar bilinçli farkındalık, psikolojik esneklik, damgalanma
ve psikolojik iyi oluş ölçeklerini doldurmuşlardır. Yapılan düzenleyici regresyon analizleri, psikolojik esnekliğin
bilinçli farkındalık ile psikolojik iyi oluş arasındaki ilişkilerde düzenleyici bir rolünün olduğunu göstermiştir. Buna
göre yüksek bilinçli farkındalık düzeyine sahip olan kanser hastalarının psikolojik esneklikleri yüksek olduğunda psikolojik
iyi oluş puanları da yüksek olmaktadır. Düzenleyici regresyon analizleri psikolojik esnekliğin damgalanma
ile psikolojik iyi oluş arasındaki ilişkilerde de düzenleyici bir rolünün olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu bulgulara göre de
yüksek düzeyde psikolojik esnekliğe sahip olmak damgalanmanın psikolojik iyi oluş üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerini
azaltmaktadır. Bu çalışma psikolojik esnekliği olan kişilerin yaşamdaki stresli durumlarla nasıl baş ettiklerini ve
psikolojik iyi oluşlarını nasıl arttırdıklarını anlamamızı kolaylaştırmaktadır. Bu bulgular, meme kanseri tanısı almış
olmanın olumsuz sonuçlarının üstesinden gelmek için psikolojik esnekliğin gerekli olduğuna dair genel fikrin sağlamlığını
göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak, araştırmanın bulguları tehditlere esnek bir şekilde yaklaşma kabiliyetinin,
stresli ortamlarda çok önemli bir yetkinlik olduğunu gösteren alanyazını desteklemektedir

Background: A randomized controlled trial examining the efficacy of behavior therapy for pediatric trichotillomania was recently completed with 24 participants ranging in age from 7 -17. The broad age range raised a question about whether young children, older children, and adolescents would respond similarly to intervention. In particular, it is unclear whether the younger children have the cognitive capacity to understand concepts like "urges" and whether they are able to introspect enough to be able to benefit from awareness training, which is a key aspect of behavior therapy for trichotillomania.
