Welcome! We are Warlines Studios. As you can tell, you wouldn't expect a developer with that name to produce horror games, but here we are... O.o

We've just released our first game of this genre for the Halloween season of 2024!

What is there to expect? Well...
Beyond One's Past is a psychological horror game which takes you on the journey of a police officer, who has gone through, is going through, and will continue to go through the mysteries of events that unfolded in a small town in the outskirts of Pennsylvania. - a.k.a "Mistown"

We'd be lying if we said there wasn't inspiration from a certain AAA horror game from Japan.

Our protagonist, Jacob Denvers, speaks with a unique Pennsylvanian accent, perfect fit for the setting of the game :0

First I would like to apologize for the awkward game design. The collision bugs you encountered are related to the engine we’re using, but it is quite unusual for them to occur so frequently. I will look into it further.

Regarding the recoil, it was my fault for implementing random bullet deviation, so I had to reduce the recoil so it wouldn't feel too difficult to hit the enemy. I'll change that up for the new game
