this game was really enjoyable in so many aspects, the characters were really fun to follow, especially eurydice with her fun intereactions and how she is suprisingly helpful throughout the story (my heart beat dropped the second i saw the vacant sign though i do like the foreshadowing and meaning of her name). the music was really good, especially the title sceen menu, it's so calming. the art is beautiful and the story was intriguing to follow along, the plot twists was shocking but never felt they were there for just shock and made the story more powerful (unlike in silver thread deux, the culprit felt a bit too much like they were was just made the culprit just for shock). this game is really good.
On that board in Magnolia's lab(?) it says the chemical formulas of cinnamaldehyde which is found in cinnamon bark, vanillin, glucose and maltose. normally i doubt you would need burned into your mind like magnolia unless something important had to be done with them, they're also listed in specific amounts implying they were used for something important in the past as implied by the line "i don't even need this memo anymore, the formula is burned in my mind".
i theorize that this important thing that she needed these formulas was for Mint's creation. which would suggest something i never thought i would say.
If you were to try to bite Mint, he would taste like cinnamon and vanilla.
anyways, this game is really good.
This question pertains to ending b and mint. how is mint's life after magnolia leaves him to dove, how did her fugitive status exactly interferes with his life, and did he suffer any pychological impacts after everything that happened? i mean i'm not quite sure someone can be completely sane after learning they aren't actually human and having to live with this fact, fed on blood when they were a child, was to an extent a catalyst for so many lives being lost, being separated from the only person they knew and loved deeply, and was to an extent, a failure.
this was just as good as the first silver thread and symbiosis. the characters were well written and well designed, alicia and beaford (as always, my favorite characters) had a fun dynamic which made for enjoyable story. also, speaking of symbiosis. i'm very interested in malachy after learning that who he is.
