This really captures the energy of CotN/CoH super well!

It's hard to really pick apart the game when it's just everything coming together so nicely, but it does feel pretty necessary to specifically say that the music is really impressive.  :P

Looking forward to the full game!

Kind of interesting how this very quickly went from "I can't tell what's going on at all" to "wait, I'm suddenly seeing how the shapes work and how I'm interacting with everything and this is really cool, actually"

It's really neat that you were able to create something like this!

This was chaotic as heck and I loved every bit of strangeness about it

Oh my goodness this is incredible!

I was checking out all the NES compo games and I couldn't stop myself from playing this like 4 or 5 times before moving onto the next game.

The art and sprites are all cute as heck, and everything feels vibrant and clear. I absolutely adore the aesthetic of the game, and it looks wonderful and plays super smoothly even with all the projectiles!

The music is one heck of an earworm, too, I couldn't stop bobbing my head. And of course, as a game itself, this hits a sweet spot for me difficulty wise and it's nice to know you'll be adding multiple difficulties.

Much love on this project - very much looking forward to the full game, but also just want to express that I loved the experience provided by the demo, too!

This game rules! Kind of coincidentally I finally dove into Alien Soldier earlier this year, and this game 100% scratches that itch and draws inspiration from it wonderfully, while still having its own identity that absolutely rules.

This game is incredibly satisfying to grind out fights on. The mechanics are easy enough to understand, while still leaving a lot of room for mastery. It feels amazing to go from struggling to barely clear a fight to basically speedrunning it. And on top of that, the character and enemy boss designs are neat (and sometimes a little silly, which definitely matches up pretty well with the inspiration sources :P). The soundtrack is full of absolute bangers that really do their part to kick up the intensity of the action, and ALSO is such a good call to the games inspiration was drawn from.

I really do just love so much about this game and I'm absolutely hooked!

Out of curiosity:

Is the OST available anywhere for purchase/any chances of it being put up in the future if not?

Has anyone cleared Ripulxor 20? ;P

Was going through the NES compo games last week and -wow- this game absolutely was a delight! So much polish and love put into this game, I really can't wait to see the final version!
