What a cool game with interesting foreshadowing. Was not expecting that to happen and I thought the platforming was really cool and responsive. Love the art as well great job!

Wow, our group came up with very similar games and almost gave it this exact title haha! Overall, I think this is a really great and polished prototype. I enjoyed manipulating the outcome and thought the art and music were really great. I can imagine even more cards being added in the future and would love to see an even more complex game in the future!
This game is really fun until the third level which can become frustrating. Instead of making the meter faster, other ways to make the game more difficult is to have red line move or have the environment in the lake be different in some way. Really cool concept tho and I hope to see more progress on this little mini game!
Very fun game but becomes really difficult when the level is side-scrolling since Stuart likes to go side to side so much. If he decides to go to the left all of a sudden it becomes very difficult to keep him going to the right. The other mechanics such as the rockets are actually really well designed tho! Keeps the difficulty up but not too much punishing as to where its impossible. Would love to see an even more polished build of this!
Cool concept but I didn't fully understand what was going on. I managed to get the soldier to target a zombie on the other side of a wall while a projectile zombie shot at him from a distance. But even then when he had no health the soldier didn't die. I ended up just spawning a bunch of zombies to chase him and suddenly I won. I did enjoy watching the guy get chased haha.
Really fun game! I didn't understand how I was damaging enemies at first, I thought my bullet-catching thing was also damaging enemies. I think that could be clearer with just a visual effect that the enemy was getting hurt. That way I wouldn't be confused what is damaging the enemy. Other than that tho, I thought the map was fun. I enjoy bullet hells so this was a very nice take on it.
I wasn't exactly sure what I was trying to hit, I thought I was trying to aim for blue targets. Overall tho, this is a cool concept. I would love to actually position the character myself with a limited distance, make my reflectors, and then fire my weapon. I think with that being done, this game has a lot of potential with combat and puzzle design.
The game and page are very pretty. Tried playing this with a second person but I think we both got too confused about what was going on by the time half the pieces were gone haha. If you were to build off this game, I think it would be cool as you learn the mechanics of each piece, a handbook actually updates and tells you exactly how that piece works.
Could be a fun exploratory, knowledge-based game.
This is such a good fun premise and the gameplay mechanics are simple yet fun! One critique that I think would improve this game would be to have the opponent just punch more. Oftentimes, I would find myself just trying to follow my opponent, begging for him to hit me. But if opponents punched more often and were not always straightforward, I think it could be more fun basically trying to run into the opponent's wild misses.
Overall, the game is super fun and I would encourage you to continue developing this idea!
This game is genuinely so addicting and made me feel so smart. Really good use of the theme and the game is super satisfying to play. Only critique would be is that the sometimes the letters made me feel more confused than help me. I was able to easily understand how pieces worked the more I play but I definitely didn't understand it when each mechanic was introduced.
a very silly and fun game! made me really feel like a fish (being confused on what bait is correct and also being very panicky when getting reeled in). The reeling section jumpscared me LOL good job! my only criticism would be that to me, the controls are really sensitive, making it really hard to control.
I couldn't get past the first two pipes for awhile cuz i was still getting used to the game. Maybe make the first pipes wider in the beginning to make a basic difficulty curve? The game becomes super easy once i realized i could just keep my cursor on the bird and track it. For a first game jam, this is still really well done especially for not working during the full 48 hours!
I wish I could save my points because I was actually really enjoying it once I understood the concept/gameplay! I would love to play for a highscore and although it was just really a pattern recognition game, you could really build upon the mechanics and make the game more exciting. For a small prototype, it's very fun!

This was a really fun game to make for this Jam. We worked hard on it so we would appreciate anyone that takes the time to play our game :))
