Ooooh, yes please, i really enjoyed this jam and would love to be a part of the 2nd one!

thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks, let me know if theres any major issues that can be fixed before the jam ends officially

I think so, but I've never run a game jam so I don't know

Who else is making a game about a rover?

My advice is: Don't panic! You'll be surprised at what you can create in a month, and you'll have a lot of time to reiterate on ideas and prototypes if you need to. The goal of a game jam is to have fun with the process, and just to make something.

Thank you big man

good game for your first game.

simple, and fun, got a high score of 29

which ending is the canon one?

Good game btw

bro, I'm glad someone made this. It helped me relax after a long hard day of coding, brought on by PinoPrime

wow, this is so polished. Good mechanic idea as well

Alright then

RoastMeJam community · Created a new topic Hand it over

Imma need the pino character model real quick

Dont worry, ill bring him back in one peice

Those are some really cool ideas, good luck with development!

I mean I guess it's open to interpretation, like classic could mean something from the past of high quality, or like a classic style Metroidvania like Metroid and Castlevania, and we could try our best to emulate that with our games. IDK, that's just my take on the theme.

Thank you so much for playing my game, I'm glad you liked it! :)

Thanks for playing, sorry about your issue, Ill get around to fixing it asap

Thanks for the feedback, I knew that there was likely to be a problem like that with balance, but I just didn't really have time to fix it before the deadline. I've been working on an update for when the jam finishes, so I will take this into account.

sorry that you are having this issue. Because it's a game jam build and the rating period hasn't finished I can't fix this issue, but thanks for letting me know about this issue. I will fix it eventually.

Good vibes all round

Bit repetitive, and the controls felt a bit strange. That being said, was definately well made, and bosses were well telegraphed and snappy.

Really well designed game all  round. Well done!! I'd never have thought this game was made in a month

Bosses felt dynamic, and it was cool how the levels were destructable

nah

thank you so much, I'm really glad people like my game :)

Very nice

(1 edit)

Wow, this game is awesome.  You get a good sense of scale with the bosses. Controls were difficult but satisfying to get the hang of. Please make more Jeremy games.

Probably the best use of the theme I've seen so far, very polished game too

Very fun game, snappy controls

Honestly, good work on completing the game jam. Controls are a bit weird, and the dash doesn't really work, but keep learning and you'll be good.

Oh sorry I'll do the full game soon

Fun combat, simple and smooth. Good luck with the rest of the development!

Pretty cool concept, interesting take on the theme

Creative boss fights, I like it! It's very fun when you get a hang of the controls.
