thanks a lot of your suggestions! Yea I had plans of adding other guns and making the planting thing more useful but I didn't have much time to implement them unto the gameplay.
yea, I actually don't like the planting thing, it's useless. at the start of the jam the idea was that you have to plant different crops to procced the level and enemies would spawn infinitely, so the player has to finish planting while fighting, but for some reason I didn't implement that! maybe I focused too much on the art and game-feel stuff that my brain got turned off!
Anyway, thanks for trying the game out, soo glad you liked it. your game is awesome btw, and it's also 6 MB! (not like those Unity devs!)
I'm pretty sure backspace works fine, But you need to select the text with right/left-click first to be able to delete or type. Also, actually you can maximize the window: click on the cog icon on the top right corner to open the settings, then-> display -> and turn fullscreen on.
GameMaker doesn't let you export to mac or Linux unless you have a mac or a Linux machine, and I only have Windows, So for now there are no builds for these platforms, sorry.
that's one of the reasons I open sourced the project.
