Hey, guys! I think it'd be a great idea for me to re-code Clippy, in more readable code!
I could make one file for the Clippy, with the ability to say stuff, and ask you things, and able to animate, and another to do all the processing! :)
Oof, uh...
OK, so: it probably is returning an error because I didn't add "./" before the path. Try Ctrl+F (finding) this: "path =", then adding "./" before the path variable.
Also, I forgot to change this: go into ./data/configure/config.json, and change the transparent_background (first option) to true. If it's false, Clippy will have a black background.
Hi, guys!
I haven't gotten started on the new animations for Clippy yet; sorry about that!
If you want to do it, then just replace the .gif files in the data folder, I think, with different animations. Make sure they have a black background, though!!
Thanks for commenting on my project here! :)
School has also started back up, so... I don't have much time for working on Clippy projects. :(
Have a good day guys! :)
Wow, thanks!! I never expected to get an actual YouTuber to stream my game!!
I guess I made it a little confusing for the goal of the different levels. I guess that's OK.
I'm a fan of Clippy, too! :)
I made another thing, "Clippy Desktop," that you can make Clippy be on your desktop. He isn't actually helpful; he's mostly there for entertainment.
Thanks again for taking the time to play my game! Especially the video!! :))
I played your game, and I found a few glitches.
Anyway, those were my only two things I thought were bad. Otherwise, the game was fun! :)
It was a little creepy, but that was OK. I got terminated a few times. :(
I played your game!
It was pretty fun. I wish there was a little more audio, like quiet music, but it was still fun without it.
Good job on this! I like the sound effect of the blocks being picked up.
I wish you could press shift or control or something to speed the stack up. It took a while at times to go across the whole map.
Nice work! :)
Nice game! :)
By the way, I lost that first time, but the ending of my second round got cut off due to a "5 minute limit" on the video... :(
I beat it the second time! Now I really want some cake... 😋
Anyway, it got kind of frantic as I was trying to pull the levers and click the buttons franticly as the ship was destroying itself...
So, let's see... I should give you some feedback. The sliders and levers worked really well! It added a challenge to it when I tried to turn them. I really liked the buttons, too. They were easier than the sliders.
I liked the music! It was very frantic at the end, and as the music got louder, it made it be even more exciting at the end and all the rooms in the ship were going crazy!!
Overall, I like the game! :) It was really fun!
Here is my first round:
(I died on stage 2) :(
I like how you didn't add invisible barriers so I could escape the map! :) I like it when I can do things in the game that aren't... exactly... intended.
It was a little tricky at first, but I think I could get good at it maybe. The shooters are a little hard, but they're OK.
Good job on this! :)
It was fun playing!
