If starting a new game doesn’t fix the issue, try deleting the file and redownloading the game. If the problem persists, lemme know

I hate to ask “did you try restarting it,” but I’m not sure what the problem would be if it persists consistently with every playthrough. The only issue I can think of is if you hesitate on the top step or in the doorway for too long, there could be a glitch. Otherwise, if starting a new game doesn’t work, delete the downloaded file and redownload it

Sorry for being a weirdo, but your stickers had me cracking up and felt like you would appreciate this strange little game
