Not really my type of game and not very friendly to new players but I can appreciate the idea behind it

Very Interesting. A little bit more polish and this would be amazing! It's already great as it is tho.

Thanks friend! We're definitely gonna continue working on this one for at least a while.

Interesting concept, but I didn't have the patience to do anything after reading the long description.

Hi!
It's an interesting concept. I didn't really understood how to play this game and when I did it became too tedious to even do one thing

Very clever concept! The art is nice and I like the sketchy look it has. Its a bit hard to get the hang of without a proper tutorial but considering my game doesn't have a tutorial either, I am not one to judge. Also considering the time frame of the jam I think a lot of people don't have tutorials. Good job!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you like the concept (I really love the way the artl looks too!)! I (we) am/are gonna do are best to get a better tutorial in as soon as  possible.

Having to click the kind of tile each time it is placed is a bit intensive, I'd much like a feature where the tiles are binded to keys (like 1234) or that tiles can continually be placed without having to reselect them.

Thanks for the feedback. I've already impleimented a better system of placing but obvious that's not on the jam page.

I like the textured look of the cubes and cross.

Having to read a manual before you can start playing is very unappealing (the ugly color and font of the page make this worse). Having to re-select every tile and having no hotkeys for them is painful. Also the window size is way too big.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, the team and I realise the obvious problem with the instructions. I'm pretty sure we're going to continue working on this, at least for a little while, and I'm pretty sure we can nail down all those problems in that time. (I changed the colour of the page)

I can see where this game is going, and I really like the idea, having to create the different colours and put them into patterns is a really nice concept that makes sense. Unfortunately I don't think you executed the idea well in this.

The first thing, obviously you got the window size wrong and I had to zoom out to play.

I love the art style especially as you are going for printers so it makes sense to not me shiny metallic machinery. This is the aspect that worked the best. it's a shame you couldn't get and SFX in as some printer noises as items were grabbed and placed would have really brought it to life.

I know that you had a bunch of text explaining the game in the description, and it was quite detailed, but you needed something in the game as well. It does nothing to teach you how to play which is really unfortunate as having to keep scrolling down to read or look at screenshots was frustrating. it would be nice if there was a help button that would bring up tips or information when clicked. Also tooltips the pop up when the mouse hovers over items would be great. Visually I understood the conveyor belt but not the others.

Finally I think that it would be nice to be able to move things once they are placed down, or to be able to rotate them once they are placed. Maybe even just a few times like with an undo button. If this really breaks what you were going for then please put in a quick level restart button like 'R' so that if the person thinks they have messed up they can start again fast without having to come out and refresh the page.

Well done on completing a game, you should all be really pleased. As stated, I can definitely see what this game could be, I hope you continue to work on it and tweak it as I think that could be a really fun and interesting puzzle

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Its really appreciated. This, of all the games I've made, is definitely the one I'd most consider continuing to develop (which is a good sign, because it shows that I'm improving). I realised whilst making this game that its really only the kind of thing that will only ever appeal to a niche audience. Whilst we could definitely improve usability and expand the audience in the ways you suggested, I personally think we struck on some really fun mechanics. The instructional text could maybe use a little improving but we tried to make the idea as easy to understand as possible without adding in an in game tutorial (which we should definitely do).
