It's a fun concept, I wish there was a level retry to give the satisfaction to learn from the immediate feedback :(

That said, well executed and extremely catchy music! Congrats :)

Harder than Dark Souls. Still realy fun.
I imagine other people have discovered this, but if you mash th drop buton, the pipe that drops the boxes grows to the point of covering the entire screen.

Developer(+1)

Haha, thank you! Yeah, I know of that bug, several people have discovered it already, unfortunately...

Submitted(+1)

At least it's a fun bug.

Cute little game, really like the style! And made in 48 hours too, wow!

Developer

Thanks!

Good game! The concept is really fun, and has an addictive gameplay. I could really play this game for hours

Developer

Thank you! :D

I keep overshooting the size of it for so little... Great game, doubles as something to help with measurement by eye skills.
Also,  found out that if you keep clicking the fit after fitting the square enough, it will shrink out of screen. Some more and it eventually fills the screen. Guess that even the glitch makes a perfect fit.
GG

Thanks for playing! I'm unfortunately aware of that bug. It's thankfully not game breaking though :P

Really addictive, I could honestly be lost in this for hours. I did manage to get one perfect fit :) I love the vibe and the music its very soothing and the game focuses on one core mechanic rather than trying to stuff a bunch of things in, which is refreshing :) Good job!

Thank you for your lovely comment! :)

Submitted(+1)

Haha! Cool concept!
I think that maybe would be cool to have one or two more tries to fit it perfectly!

Developer

Thank you! Could be a feature if I continue working on this :)

Oh I've had so much fun with this one! And it's made in 48 hours, music included?! Whoa. Only note I have is I'd have loved to see something like a percentage too for a score, as a form of more detailed feedback

Developer

Thank you for your lovely comment! Yes, all assets where made in 48 hours, except the font! To show percentage score was the idea at first actually but because I opted to have this finished during the weekend I had to change the plans :)

So friggin close... (to perfection), this triggers my perfectionism mood. So just 4/5 for enjoyment!

Developer

Haha, I guess I deserve that! Thanks for playing! :P

Submitted(+1)

I don't want to admit how long I played this for! Way too addictive!

Developer

Happy you liked it! :D

Submitted(+1)

Damn, that music made me 5 star it for enjoyment, may we all one day fit perfectly

Developer

Aw, thank you so much!

"build to scale" : wow, you don't mess around with the theme, it's straight to the point ;-)
As everybody says : simple yet so fun ! It misses some kind of mid-term / long-term gameplay, please keep going !

Developer

Thank you for your comment and feedback! I agree but don't have any ideas in mind currently. Suggestions are appreciated :)

Hmm, ok, maybe something to try as a first step :

- after the piece is dropped, some machine cuts what sticks out of the container, and it is counted as waste score. If the piece is too big to fit the container, everything goes to waste

- then some machine fills the holes with some liquid, and it is counted as a unfilled score

(maybe you don't actually see any machine, and it's just abstracted for a score)

- player has a waste "life bar" and a unfilled "life bar", whenever one gets to zero, the game stops. Otherwise, you keep playing

- simplified variant : waste and unfilled are counted in the same score, only one life bar. But I think it's interesting to keep asymetry, it adds tension and a bit of tactics.

Really cozy and interesting idea! Lack of completion/goal made is slightly less fun I suppose, but was still fun to play! The simplistic art and music fit the gameplay perfectly :)

Developer

Thank you! If I would have had more time adding some kind of goal or purpose would have made sense. Happy you still enjoyed it! :)

Soo unique, yet not complicated! Satisfaction from perfect fit is here, yes! Artstyle is good, too!

Developer

Thank you for your nice comment!

This game is so simple, it has no right to be that addictive!
But it is and it's awesome!
Great idea and very well done!
I don't have a lot to say but I always give constructive comments so:
The sizable square could come back to the smaller after each fit
The grid in the background could help a little more

Besides that, great job!

Developer

Thank you for your comment and feedback! I was also quite surprised while making it how this simple game turned out to be so fun :D
