Beat it in about 3 min. I thought the balancing and pacing was perfect. I enjoy the art work and am a big fan of the undead/monster theme :)
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! :)
In my first game I did 3m23s with 505678 souls. When I saw that, I thought “what! can I try to speedrun an autoclicker :D?!”. So I did a second game in 2m28s with 195891 souls.
This kind of game, I can spend way too much time on it xD (proof of this is my Cookie Clicker game on mobile which has been going on for 1575 days and for which I'm at over 93% completion :D).
Well done for creating this game in such a short time, and for this very successful interface!
Thank you for playing, and twice at that - and for your comments! I did want to make a much shorter version of cookie clicker, which also lends itself to speedrunning/optimization in the end (though I will admit that is more of a happy accident than intentional design choice).
On another note. your Cookie Clicker puts mine to shame, my word :O
I played this for longer that I would like to admit and accumulated over 33 million souls before conquering the world. I like that it can be completed very quickly but I had fun taking my time and raising some of these numbers. There's a lot of nice polish here and there, the buttons felt satisfying to click and I enjoyed the humor in the descriptions. Great job!
Really glad to hear you enjoyed it, thanks for playing! Thanks for the feedback, it's my first time trying anything UI driven (or a proper UI at all for that matter) so it's nice to hear that the effort on the polish side was noticed :)
I took 3 minutes and 34 seconds! I tried a second time and god 2 minutes and 59 seconds! With the current scaling I assume the strategy to be to constantly buy the highest two tiers. I like the way theres a slow reveal for the next creature in the tier list with the panel flashing then the silhouette revealing then the numbers appearing, adds to the suspense and anticipation nicely. I like the overall concept for the game I think it was well executed. I think the gravestone clicking sound was a tad repetitive especially since it plays so quickly in a short time due to spam clicking, maybe adding a more significant pitch shift or using a different sfx might help. Overall a solid game that’s fun to try a few times to optimize hehe. Great work!
Thank you for playing and for the compliment + feedback! Yes, I must confess that I ran out of time to experiment with any proper balancing, so the highest two tiers of summon are ridiculously more cost effective than the rest of them.
I had a bit of a headache trying to sort the gravestone sfx and in the end decided that the player should only be clicking it for the very beginning of the game (hopefully) so sadly had to half-arse it. But fully agree with your thoughts, I'll try playing around with a more significant pitch shift!
