Profile
Taylor McBride oversees the operational management of the Publications Unit and Media Relations. She received her BA in Global Liberal Studies, specializing in Contemporary Culture and Creative Production, from New York University. After positions at renowned institutions such as the Studio Museum in Harlem, the Whitney Museum, and the MAK Center for Art and Architecture, she switched gears to the wine industry where she served as Editorial Assistant and Assistant Editor at Wine Spectator.
Most recently, she was the Publications and Interpretive Manager at NYU’s Institute for the Study of the Ancient World. There she managed the production of scholarly illustrated catalogs and gallery texts for exhibitions on diverse topics related to archaeology and ancient cultures.
At the Cotsen, Taylor manages the acquisition, production, and marketing of all book series and the Annual Review of the Institute, ensuring that the Institute's publications maintain the highest standards of quality and relevance. She also plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing publicity strategies, as well as creating and maintaining the graphic identity of the Institute across all media.
