Pakistani-American actor Faran Tahir will reprise his role as the villainous Raza from Iron Man in Vision Quest, Marvel’s new television series for Disney+, sources confirmed to Deadline.

Tahir’s character is the leader of Ten Rings, the terrorist organisation that tried to kill Tony Stark in Iron Man.

Not much was revealed about the new project, however, Deadline reported that the series, a spin-off of WandaVision, has been in development at Disney+ since 2022 and was picked up to be a television series in May.

According to the publication, the show is supposed to focus on Vision (played by Paul Bettany) as he tries to regain his memory and humanity. The character returned to Marvel in WandaVision (2021) after Thanos, one of Marvel’s biggest villains, killed him in Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

Apart from his work for Marvel, Tahir starred in Umro Ayyar, Rawalpindi Express, and Inspector Jamshed. Internationally, he was in Paper Flowers, The Martial Artist, and The Window.

On stage, he recently starred in the Broadway adaptation of Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner.
