Scimitar-toothed cats were large carnivorous mammals that lived during the ice age. They were a type of Saber-toothed Tiger.

More rarely, they would hunt fat male scimitar-toothed cat, named Lenny was a member of a pack of saber-tooth tigers, which leader was Soto, before their second in command, Diego, betrayed the pack to form a herd with a mammoth and a ground sloth. The towering pachyderm killed Soto, forcing Lenny to escape with Oscar, a saber-tooth tiger that, like him, was apart of the pack.
