Through Buck's adventures in the Lost World he has used Rudy's tooth as a dagger or some of kind of weapon that it seems to resemble based on his uses for it. It is one of his many handmade items he uses in his journeys in the lost world and for his protection. It has proven to be very useful for protecting himself from Dinosaurs and other dangers and is very strong and hard to break. For more information see Rudy's Tooth.
Buck's knife consists of Rudy's tooth nicely tied together with vines to a wooden handle.
