4. General information regarding the data processing

When using the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to provide stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR):

a. This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functioning of which are explained below:

6. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. "("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. 7. Use of chat function

We offer a chat for our users as an additional option for our users to communicate with us via our website. The information set forth in section 4 is processed in connection with your use of the chat function. Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR.

We use the external service provider Intercom, Inc. for the provision of the chat function. The processing of your personal data by Intercom, Inc. is based on an agreement on data protection and data security that complies with legal requirements. 8. Use of our service “Hygraph”

If you want to use our service “Hygraph”, you have to sign up with your email-address, a password and your name. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sign up, i.e. your registration is not complete until you have previously confirmed your registration via a confirmation e-mail sent to you for this purpose by clicking on the link contained therein. If your confirmation is not received, your registration will be automatically deleted from our database.

Providing the above data is mandatory. Any further personal data you provide us with is voluntary and you consent into its processing in accordance with this privacy policy by providing it.

We process the personal data only for and in connection with the provision of Hygraph.

We use your email address to provide you with information about updates of Hygraph via our regular newsletter. You can revoke your consent to receive our newsletter at any time by using the respective link in the newsletter or sending an email to [email protected].

The legal basis for the processing of mandatory personal data in relation to the use of Hygraph is Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. b GDPR; the legal basis for voluntary personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR.

We use services and storage systems of external service providers for the provision of Hygraph. These service providers have access to the personal data you upload to Hygraph. The processing of your personal data by the respective service provider is based on an agreement on data protection and data security that complies with legal requirements.

These service providers are categorized as follows:

  • Subscription management and invoicing tool providers,
  • Payment processing tool providers,
  • Authentification tool providers,
