Houston's diversity is one of it's strongest assets, and it radiates through our food culture as well. This week's announcement covers four new restaurants that showcase that spirit.

ENERGY CORRIDOR D'Marcos Pizzeria opens a second location at 14642 Memorial Drive. Chicago native Demarco Jenkins debuts new recipes alongside pizza signatures like the south side layered with house made sausage. The new locale will offer dine-in, take-out, and catering services just in time for holiday parties. [EHOU]

EADO — You may remember Papa Charlie's BBQ as the pop-up BBQ guy at Jackson's Watering Hole, but with the success of the portable pit, owner Wesley Jurena has gone all-in with a permanent location at 2012 Rusk (and St. Emanuel) in the ever-expanding EaDo neighborhood. Jurena double-downed by becoming the first restaurant in Houston to be 44 Farms exclusive, a winning combination. [EHOU]

MEMORIAL PARK — Piada Italian Street Food has made it's Texas debut at 5801 Memorial Dr. and already has two more locations on the radar for it's fast casual Italian concept planned in Sugarland and Dallas. Diners move quickly through the cafe assembly line to build their own pasta bowl, salad, sandwich or signature piada wrap with standout ingredients including calamari fritto and diavolo sauce. MIDTOWN Saigon House brings a contemporary take on Vietnamese cuisine for the bustling Midtown district at 3101 Main St. Take the light rail down, and try to snag a seat in the intimate nine seat outdoor terrace and grab a vermicelli bowl, kicked up a notch with the addition of seasonal vegetables.
