Mercury Filmworks is a Canadian independent animation studio based in Ottawa, Canada, that produces animated features and TV shows for the likes of Disney, Netflix, Warner Brothers and Nickelodeon as well as the firm’s own original projects. Along with Silvergate Media, they developed the Hilda tv-series.
Mercury Flimworks was founded in 1997 in Vancouver by Clint Eland, who is the current Chief Executive Officer. In 2004, Mercury Filmworks was transferred to Toronto and then Ottawa, where it currently resides.
