- Anton Vogel, outgoing Supreme Mugwump, absolves Gellert Grindelwald of all his alleged crimes on behalf of the International Confederation of Wizards, due to insufficient evidence. In truth, he is a secret supporter of Gellert Grindelwald.[1]
- An election for the office of Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards is held with three candidates, Vicência Santos, Liu Tao, and Gellert Grindelwald.[2]
- Grindelwald tries to cheat the walk of the Qilin. He is outed as a liar by Newt Scamander and Credence Barebone. Dumbledore duels Grindelwald to a stalemate. Grindelwald leaves. Vinência Santos wins the election.[1]
- The Ilfracombe Incident occurs. Dirk becomes known as "Dodgy" Dirk due to his remembering the incident, having avoided the Tokes' Memory Charms.[3]
- The seventy-sixth Wizarding Schools Potions Championship is held.[4]
- The Vratsa Vultures are defeated by the Appleby Arrows in a sixteen-hour match, considered by many Arrow fans to be their finest hour.[5]
