Contributing to at least 5 million deaths every year, AMR is one of the biggest healthcare – and humanitarian – challenges we collectively face. GASPH aims to meet this challenge by building partnerships across the globe to collaborate, support and share best practices and education resources in a single, free-to-access hub.
Through its collective membership and collaborative working, GASPH aims to accelerate the PACE of action on AMR:
Partnership opportunities through its Global Advisory Board: a dynamic forum comprised of organisations seeking to share education resources and collaborate on projects to improve effective prescribing and reduce AMR.
Advocacy for change across all sectors – not for profit and commercial – sharing how small initiatives focused on healthcare communities, patients and the public can bring significant change.
Commerce and investment: engaging these sectors in supporting actions to stem the rise of antimicrobial resistance.
Education for healthcare teams on the appropriate use of antibiotics through the sharing of e-learning resources and training courses (both open access and fee-based).
GASPH Founder and Chair, Professor Dilip Nathwani is pleased to introduce GASPH via this short video: Introduction to GASPH.
The key aim of GASPH is to facilitate access to education from various providers across the world so that healthcare teams can learn about the appropriate use of antibiotics to support antimicrobial stewardship (AMS).
Educational resourcesSupporting and promoting community based projects working to improve the spread of infection and antimicrobial resistance across the globe.
