Hi Ryan, MFs not implemented on my blog yet, a self-hosted WP. Haven’t yet figured out how to install brid.gy. Is there a how-to anywhere? |
hey @Wordius! you actually do have microformats on your blog; wordpress includes them automatically. a bug in bridgy is making it falsely claim you don't. that bug should be fixed soon. sorry for the trouble; i'll update here when it's fixed. as for installing bridgy, you're already set up! no need to install any software, it's just a service you sign up for. lots more details in the docs: http://brid.gy/about the one additional thing you can do if you want is turn on backfeed for replies, favorites, etc. by clicking the Twitter button under Want comments and likes? on https://www.brid.gy/twitter/Wordius . up to you though, you don't have to. |
Thanks, Ryan. Realise this is just a ‘gitft’! ---: Jeff Porter: publishink.co.uk: [email protected] On 7 July 2014 19:46:50 BST, Ryan Barrett [email protected] wrote:hey @Wordius! you actually do have microformats on your blog; wordpress includes them automatically. a bug in bridgy is making it falsely claim you don't. that bug should be fixed soon. sorry for the trouble; i'll update here when it's fixed. as for installing bridgy, you're already set up! no need to install any software, it's just a service you sign up for. lots more details in the docs: http://brid.gy/about (the one additional thing you can do if you want is turn on backfeed for replies, favorites, etc. by clicking the Twitter button under Want comments and likes? on https://www.brid.gy/twitter/Wordius . up to you though, you don't have to. —Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub. |
ok @Wordius, this should be fixed. thanks for your patience! |
argh, this broke publishing for @JasonGreen. i want to prefer his site's child h-entry content to the parent h-feed's name. ie i want |
...specifically, when summary and content are the same, so we know we're not losing anything. for snarfed/bridgy#219, snarfed/bridgy#228
@Wordius hit this just now on https://www.brid.gy/twitter/Wordius with http://wordius.com/save-nearly-200-apples-quad-core-mac-mini/ . here's the log. the page has no
e-content
, but it does have aname
, which i should use.the fix goes here. should be straightforward.
thanks for uncovering this, @Wordius. sorry for the trouble!
