This has the homepage running for the website

First make sure Git and Node is installed in your system, if not download from below:

• Git
• Node

Once you have them both installed,Follow the steps below:

• create the folder where you want to start working on the project
• open the folder in VSCODE or any other Text-editor
• Type in the following commands in the terminal one-by-one ie the command prompt present inside VSCODE, it will be present in the bottom, from where you can swipe it up.

git init
git clone https://github.com/theTeam8/Gift-Website.git .

• When that is done, type this in the terminal, this will install the node_modules folder in your project

npm install

• After this is over, type this to start the local server to view the website, it will open up the website in your browser.

npm start

That covered setting the website up, now if you want to start making changes do the following,

Now make any changes you want and make sure the main repo is forked into your account in github, after this you have to push it into Github for others to view, for that follow the following,

• In the terminal execute these one by one,this will upload all the new changes into your github:

git add .
git commit -m "title about the change"
git push https://github.com/{your username}/Gift-Website.git
