Yes, the Pado versions (aka Pado2) made available via install_padogrid are fully compatible with Geode 1.x and GemFire 9.x. At the time of writing, Pado2 only comes in binary forms, however.

The original Pado implementation available in the public GitHub repo (https://github.com/netcrest/pado) is compatible with GemFire 7.x and 8.x. There is no plan to support GemFire versions less than 9.x in PadoGrid.
