Table of Contents
This is an example of how you may give instructions on setting up your project locally. To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.
Docker is required.

Make sure
Docker
is installed in your machine. You can download the latest
version from the Docker website. -
Clone the repo.
git clone https://github.com/noodleslove/jable_py.git
-
Setup personal
credentials
for gmail account, andrecipients
for email notification. Createsecrets.py
in app directory.touch jable_py/app/secrets.py
Setup following variables to make the application work.
email = {sender-email} app_pw = {gmail-app-password} recipients = {list-of-recipients}

Open up a terminal and run the following command start up your application.
docker compose up
-
If you want to run your services in the background, you can run the following command instead.
docker compose up -d
If you started Compose with
docker compose up -d
, you can stop your services once you’ve finished with them.docker compose stop
