Right now, it will block on the longest timeout. We could store the elapsed time, and then check against each server. |

There's still the question of what 0 means, do we just send close and be done with it or kill the server? I assume the former.
I guess we could also use -1 as a sentinel value to skip the kill and have 0 be a "no delay". But not sure if we gain anything by that.

Thanks, definitely agree that "graceful" is unnecessary. Also "graceful" and "exit cleanly" are the exact opposite of what's going on here. We are instead exiting without cleaning up. The typical name for this concept in libuv and Nvim is "detached" ( |

I changed the implementation slightly to avoid having long running servers with long timeout lengths enforce max cap. it should be each server is now killed indepdently based on exit_timeout. Want to verify this works. @dimbleby Can you test this out and see if it resolves your issue? pass to rust analyzer in setup{} in lspconfig. |

Thanks! I am surprised to report that with this code change, exit when using rust-analyzer is fast even without updating the configuration. I have verified that with current master code that's not the case, ie the difference really does seem to be this MR rather than eg that rust-analyzer has changed in the last week or so. Code-reading, I don't see why this should be so. But it is. Maybe rust-analyzer was always almost-very-quick to exit, and we are now doing just enough work that it is gone by the time we first check? Doesn't sound super plausible, perhaps a sharper pair of eyes will see something that I have missed. |

* This flag allows customizing the time before sending kill -15 to the
server. If set to false, neovim exits immediately after sending
request('shutdown'). Otherwise, polls until all servers have shutdown,
and then kills remaining servers via kill -15 at exit_timeout
duration. Defaults to 500 ms.

* This flag allows customizing the time before sending kill -15 to the
server. If set to false, neovim exits immediately after sending
request('shutdown'). Otherwise, polls until all servers have shutdown,
and then kills remaining servers via kill -15 at exit_timeout
duration. Defaults to 500 ms.
