We don't need to do this anymore since starting 2.1, we use the inbox shipped shims. So if people want the latest shims, they should just move to latest frameworks. If we want to ship the latest shims for 2.0, we would need to also cross compile the shims for 2.1 and so on for newer frameworks. @ericstj and I decided it is not worth, and if we need to ship a fix to the shims package we can do it from the 2.1 branch.
